The Smart Mobile Ultrasonic (SMU-N) is an innovative, portable measurement solution designed for accurate and flexible monitoring of water consumption and flow. The system consists of a clamp-on ultrasonic meter and an intelligent data collection unit, both housed in a durable, water-resistant carrying case for easy transport and on-site setup. Thanks to its ultrasonic technology, the SMU can measure water flow quickly, precisely, and without any need for pipe modification, making it ideal for validating existing water meters, checking water flow, and supporting network analyses such as night-time minimums and zone demand assessments.

The device collects data every 15 minutes and transmits it to a dedicated server using NB-IoT communication. This network provides excellent coverage, even in hard-to-reach areas, ensuring reliable connectivity in deep chambers or closed meter cabinets. Its built-in gel battery offers long operating time, supporting up to two weeks of continuous use depending on conditions, making it suitable for short- and medium-term measurement campaigns. The robust, water-resistant design ensures that SPU operates safely in harsh outdoor and industrial environments.
