Wireless data collection and online visualization – efficient maintenance, reliable operation
The WaterScope IoT sewage pumping station monitoring system is a modern, wireless data collection solution that enables real-time monitoring of the operation, pressure values, and water levels of pumping stations. The system transmits data to the user using LoRaWAN or NB-IoT technology, supporting operation with online visualization and automatic reporting. Zalavíz Zrt. an innovative wireless metering system was introduced in the municipality of Zalaapáti to provide accurate, real-time data to help the utility improve operational efficiency. The system provides instant visibility of consumption data and allows a rapid response to changes in the network, reducing water losses.
Object:
To increase the operational reliability of sewage lift stations, optimize maintenance costs, and predict failures with a smart, cloud-based system.
The challenge
- Difficulties in detecting failures and flooding in a timely manner
- High energy consumption
- Limited possibilities for predicting maintenance needs
- Monitoring of different locations that are difficult to access
